1. Overview

Purpose: The SmartSampler is a modular field and lab automation controller. It coordinates pumps, valves, and sensors for automated sampling and measurement tasks.

Design goal: Rugged IP67 enclosure, compact footprint, suitable for outdoor deployment in harsh conditions.

Safety information:

• Operate only within specified voltage/current ranges.
• Avoid water ingress when connectors are not properly sealed.
• Use appropriate fuses and wiring for external loads.

• Each unit is marked with a revision number.
• Documentation in this manual refers to hardware revision 0.x.
