5. Diagnostics & Maintenance

Output does not switch

• Confirm that SmartSampler2 and the PowerExpander are powered and connected.
• Check the output assignment and test the selected port in SmartConfig2.
• Disconnect power, then inspect the port fuse and replace it only with a suitable rating no greater than 7.5 A.
• Inspect the load and cable for a short circuit, overload, loose connection, or reversed polarity before restoring power.

Routine maintenance

• Inspect connectors, seals, cables, and the enclosure for damage or contamination.
• Keep unused ports capped.
• Clean the exterior with a damp cloth; do not use solvents or high-pressure cleaning.
• Record repeated fuse failures and the connected load details before requesting support.
