2. Hardware Interface
Identify the controller connection and all six output ports before installation. Keep protective caps fitted to unused connectors.
Controller connection
Connect the PowerExpander only to the designated compatible SmartSampler2 expansion interface. Disconnect power before attaching or removing the module.
Six fused output ports
- Six output ports are available per PowerExpander.
- Each port must be fused for its connected load and cable.
- Do not use a fuse larger than the recommended maximum of 7.5 A per port.
- Do not exceed the ratings of the connected equipment, cabling, or power source.
Confirm the output assignment and switching behaviour in SmartConfig2 before connecting field equipment.
