The WaterSampler can take up to 12 discrete water samples. It is possible to use up to 10 WaterSampler modules with one data logger. This sampler is designed to use lure lock syringes as sample containers, which has the advantage that the samples are sealed. The maximum volume of the supplied lure lock syringes is 200 ml, but also smaller syringes (down to 10 ml) can be used. A filter can be plugged in in front of each syringe. An external pump is needed to supply water to the sampler. The WaterSampler will be flushed before each sample to minimize a cross contamination. The WaterSampler is compact and weatherproof, which makes it easy to carry and travel with. The quick connectors used to connect the sample containers to the sampler enables a quick and easy deployment. The inline mounted filter (50 mesh = 297 microns) protects the sampler from solids and saves filter capacity. The inline filter can be cleaned manually before each deployment. Custom containers can be connected via an ¼ inch tube.
