2. Getting Started

2.1 Installation

• System requirements:
  • Windows 10/11
  • USB 2.0 port and Mini USB-B cable.
  • Administrator rights for driver installation.
• Installation procedure:
  1. Download the latest installer from the download section
  2. Run the installer and follow on-screen instructions.
  3. Connect the SmartSampler2 only after installation is complete.

2.2 First Connection

• Connect the SmartSampler2 to the PC using the supplied waterproof Mini USB-B cable.
• The device should appear as a virtual COM port.
• If the driver is not automatically installed, follow the operating system prompts to install it manually.
• Once recognized, SmartConfig will display the device in the connection panel.
