Sampler Modes Overview
The SmartSampler supports multiple Sampler Modes to provide flexible and efficient control over sampling operations. These modes allow users to quickly switch between preconfigured programs without needing to reprogram the device from scratch.
Predefined Modes
These modes are hard-coded into the sampler firmware and are designed for common sampling scenarios. While they cannot be fully customized, each allows for minor adjustments (e.g., timing or sensor settings) to fit your application with minimal configuration.
UserDefined Mode
This is the fully programmable mode where the user can create custom sampling logic tailored to their specific application. It offers maximum flexibility and control.

Why Use Sampler Modes?
- Quick switching between operational modes with minimal effort
- Simplified setup for recurring use cases
- Optimized performance when using specific Modules, which may require a certain Sampler Mode to function properly
Typical Use Case
If you’re using SmartSampler modules (e.g., the BubbleCatcher or AquaMate), a specific Sampler Mode may be required. This ensures compatibility and optimal operation with minimal setup.
