Minimum Required Parts
Before installing the AutoSampler7, make sure you have at least the following components:
- SmartSampler2 – Core control unit
- AutoSampler7 – Valve control module
- Power Supply – 12VDC, battery, or a similar power source
Optional Components (Recommended for Specific Applications)
Depending on your sampling requirements, you may also need:
- Prefilter – For working with fluids
- Sample Container – Syringe, bag, or other suitable vessel
- Tube-to-Luer Lock Fitting – For secure sample connections
- Tubings – To connect samples and to connect to collection unit
Ensure all components are properly sized and compatible to avoid leaks and pressure drops during operation.
Preparing for Installation
Before installing the AutoSampler7, follow these preparation steps to ensure a smooth deployment and optimal performance:
- Inspect for Damage: Check the unit for any signs of damage. Verify that all screws, connectors, and seals are intact.
- Check Seals and Connections: Ensure that all O-rings, gaskets, and cable seals are properly seated and undamaged to maintain the weatherproof rating.
- Clean the System (if necessary): If the AutoSampler7 has been stored for a long period or used in a previous deployment, run a clean cycle to remove any residual contaminants.
- Power and Communication Check: Test the power connections and communication ports to confirm proper operation before placing the unit in the field.
- Firmware Upgrade (Optional): Check if the SmartSampler is running the latest firmware version for improved functionality and stability.
- Site Assessment: Ensure the installation site is suitable for the AutoSampler, including proper mounting options, adequate power supply, and sufficient protection from physical impacts.
