Follow these steps to ensure a reliable AquaMate setup in the field:
Stable Mounting
Place the Module in a stable and upright position. Ensure it cannot shift due to wind, vibrations, or moving water.
Cable Management
Route the power and communication cable safely. Avoid sharp edges, tight bends, or areas where animals or tools may damage the cable. Use ties or conduits for long-term installations.
Verify Weatherproofing
Check that all connectors are firmly seated and all seals are properly engaged to maintain the AquaMate’s IP66 weatherproof rating.
Connect Water Supply
Attach the inlet tubing from the external pump. Ensure the pump delivers a steady flow at the planned installation height and tubing length.
Initial System Test
Power on the SmartSampler and confirm that the AquaMate Module is recognized. Run a short test—such as switching a valve or moving to a sample position—to verify operation.
Sensor or Filter Setup (if used)
If you use plug-in sample filters, ensure each filter is properly mounted and securely seated.
Test Cycle
Run a brief flush cycle to confirm water flow, valve operation, and leak-free connections.
