Follow these guidelines to ensure a dependable AutoSampler7 setup in the field:
Stable Mounting
Install the Module in a stable, upright position. Ensure that tubing and sample containers remain securely placed and protected from movement.
Tubing and Cable Management
Route tubing and cables to avoid sharp bends, abrasion, or kinking.
Use cable ties or protective conduits for long-term deployments.
Verify Weatherproofing
Check that all connectors are firmly tightened and that seals and cable glands are fully engaged to maintain IP66 weather protection.
Connect Water/Gas Supply
Attach the inlet tubing from the external source. Confirm that flow rate and pressure meet the needs of your application.
Initial System Test
Power the SmartSampler and confirm that the Module is detected.
Perform a short functional test: activate the pumps, switch manifold positions, or run a brief flush cycle.
Sample Container Setup
Install sealed sampling bags, vials, or bottles at each of the seven positions.
Ensure all containers are correctly mounted and leak-free.
Functional Test Cycle
Run a flush-and-switch sequence to confirm that:
- The pumps operate properly
- The manifold switches reliably
- Flow is unobstructed
- No leaks are present
