Cleaning the Exterior
Modules are designed for field use and weather-resistant operation. Exterior cleaning can typically be performed using a gentle water rinse or a damp cloth. To maximize longevity, avoid prolonged, high-pressure spraying directly on screws, cable glands, or connectors. For more thorough cleaning, wipe the housing with a damp cloth to remove dirt or debris.
Running Maintenance or Cleaning Cycles (if supported)
Some Modules include built-in maintenance or cleaning routines, such as flushing lines, resetting internal positions, or running diagnostic checks. To maintain reliable long-term performance:
- After Each Deployment: Run the recommended maintenance cycle (e.g., flushing, resetting, diagnostics) to clear residue or verify proper operation.
- Repetition: If the Module handled challenging conditions—such as saline water, sediment, dust, or heavy fouling—repeat the maintenance cycle for a more thorough cleanup.
- Dry or Idle Cycle: When possible, finish with a dry or low-load cycle to remove remaining moisture and reduce the risk of corrosion, deposits, or biofilm buildup inside the Module.
Regular post-deployment maintenance helps extend the Module’s service life and ensures consistent performance in future deployments.
