4.3.2 Power

The Power tab allows you to assign the supply level for each output port. This determines how much power is delivered from the Power In supply (10–16 VDC) to each connected device.

output power selection

Power In

  • The Power In connector supplies the SmartSampler2 with 10–16 VDC.
  • The same supply is distributed to all output ports, with adjustable power levels per port.

Output Power Levels

Each output (1–4) can be set individually with a value from 0–10:

  • 0 → Output disabled (no power delivered).
  • 1–9 → Reduced power levels (scaled output).
  • 10 → Full power (direct VIN).

This allows fine-tuning of outputs for different loads, reducing stress on smaller devices or conserving energy.

Output Ratings

  • All outputs (1–4): Up to 120 W @ VIN
  • Current capability depends on VIN (10–16 V) and attached load. (10A Fuse)

Notes

  • Always ensure the configured level matches the requirements of the connected device.
  • Lower power levels may be useful for testing, calibration, or running devices at reduced intensity.
  • Level settings are saved after pressing Save and persist after restart.
