Installation

Follow these steps to ensure a reliable and efficient AquaMate setup in the field:

  1. Secure Deployment: Install the AquaMate in a stable, upright position. Ensure it is securely deployed to prevent movement during operation.
  2. Cable Management: Route all cables carefully to avoid sharp bends, pinch points, or strain. Use cable ties and protective conduits where necessary to reduce wear and prevent water ingress for more permanent installation.
  3. Verify Weatherproofing: Double-check that all connectors are fully seated and locked, and that all seals are properly engaged to maintain the AquaMate’s weatherproof rating.
  4. Connect Power and Communication: Attach the power supply and communication cables. If using a solar panel or external battery, confirm the voltage and polarity are correct.
  5. Initial System Test: Power on the system and verify proper functionality by switching the main valve manually. Check for any error messages or unusual behavior.
  6. Sensor Alignment (if applicable): Ensure all connected sensors are correctly positioned and securely connected to their designated ports.
  7. Run a Test Cycle: Run a purge cycle to confirm proper valve function and fluid flow before starting regular operation.
  8. Environmental Check: Make sure the AquaMate is not exposed to direct impact risks or extreme environmental conditions that could exceed its weatherproof rating.
  9. Record Installation Details: Document the installation date, location, and any specific configuration settings for future reference.
